KAU Participates in Jeddah International Book Fair 2016

 His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Governor of Makkah Province and consultant of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, has visited the KAU wing at Jeddah International Book Fair, and in his reception were HE KAU President Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Youbi, Vice President for Development Dr. Amin Noaman, Dean of Library Affairs Dr. Nabiel Komosany and Director of Cultural Relations Dept. Prof. Abdulrahman AL-Masoud.

HRH Prince Khalid examined the programs and activities of the wing in addition to the University’s scientific productions. HRH also looked at the scientific publications, research and studies for the scientific chairs, including Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz chair for moral values, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal's chair for consolidating Saudi moderation approach, Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz chair for crisis and disaster management, and Prince Mishal bin Majed chair for studies and researches issues of concealment commercial. 

It is worth noting that the Deanship of Library Affairs oversees the wing through displaying the intellectual output of the University’s  Center of Scientific Publishing and scientific chairs.

The Deanship has also launched a contest program; the visitors of the University wing are invited to record sections from a selection of popular books in a fully equipped recording studio on site. This is in anticipation of the launch of KAU’s interactive audio platform ‘Audioketab’.
