ELI wins KAU Excellence Award for e-Learning Full Utilization 2020/2021
The ELI has bagged the Excellence Award for the Full Utilization of Virtual Classes for 2020/2021 as part of the KAU President’s Excellence and Creativity Award for e-Learning.
KAU’s President, Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Youbi, presented the trophy to the ELI Dean, Dr Abdullah Al-Bargi, in an official ceremony on June 30, 2021.
The prize was a true reflection of the continuous and concerted effort made by Institute’s team, who the Dean went on to pay tribute to, towards providing quality core-elements in its online teaching and assessment practice. “I would like to thank the ELI faculty, each and every staff member, for their dedicated work and constant, considerable effort in taking the ELI to where it is today; a leading ELT organization in Saudi Arabia and beyond.”
In addition to this year’s award and long before the Covid-19 pandemic, the ELI had taken the initiative in this field by shifting aspects of its core-element learning and assessment online. In recognition, the Institute was fortunate enough to win the 2018 KAU President’s Excellence in e-Learning Prize.
